Airport Bowling
Privacy Policy
The Airport Bowling app (“Game”) is provided by Windchant Studios (“we”). This policy describes what data we process. The short answer: none. The only exception is the Bluetooth duel, in which the players’ phones (two to four) exchange gameplay data directly with each other (section 3).
1. The Game works fully offline
The Game requires no account and no internet connection. We do not collect, store or share any personal data or usage data. The Game contains no ads, no purchases and no analytics tools. The Bluetooth duel connects the players’ phones (two to four) directly, without the internet and without any servers of ours.
2. Data on your device
Your progress (records, statistics, unlocked suitcases and airports, player names in duels, duel history, sound and vibration settings) is stored only in your device’s memory. Uninstalling the Game deletes this data. We have no access to it.
3. Bluetooth duel (two to four phones)
In the “Bluetooth” mode two to four phones connect directly to each other through the Nearby Connections service built into Google Play services: the phone of the person who sets up the game connects to the other players’ phones and passes gameplay data between them. Only what the match needs is sent to the other phones: the player name typed in the Game (shown in the list of nearby games, in the waiting room and on the other players’ screens), the chosen airport and suitcase, the number of rounds, throw gestures, the scores of the current match, and the fact that a player lost the connection or left the game. The connection is encrypted, the data passes through no server and we have no access to it. The duel result (names and points) is stored only in the memory of the phones taking part in the game, in the duel history. Google Play services are part of Android and are covered by Google’s privacy policy.
4. Permissions
The Game uses the phone’s vibration (feedback when the queue goes down); it can be turned off in the Game’s Settings. For the Bluetooth duel the Game asks for the nearby devices permission (Bluetooth, and on Android 13 and newer also nearby Wi-Fi devices). On Android 12 and older the system requires location permission to scan for Bluetooth devices; the Game does not read, store or share your location. These permissions are needed only for the duel and can be revoked in the phone’s settings. The Game does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone or files.
5. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, this also applies to children’s data.
6. Changes to this policy
If the Game ever starts processing any data (e.g. online scores), we will update this policy before the change and show a notice in the Game.
